Welcome to the workshop – Assist with podiatry assessment and exercise.
This workshop describes the skills and knowledge required to assist a podiatrist with the delivery and monitoring of specific client exercise and rehabilitation programs and in the completion of client foot health assessments.
This workshop applies to allied health assistants and should be performed under the direction and supervision (direct, indirect or remote) of an allied health professional.
Workshop outcomes:
- Assist with podiatry assessments
- Prepare for the delivery of podiatry exercise program or assessment procedure
- Deliver podiatry exercise or rehabilitation program
- Comply with supervisory requirements
- Clean and store equipment
- Document client information
