Welcome to the workshop – Provide information and strategies in maternal and infant health.
This workshop describes the required skills and knowledge to conduct health promotion related to maternal and child health as part of primary health care services for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.
It applies to those Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Workers providing a range of primary health care services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients and communities.
Workshop outcomes:
- Provide health information, support and care for women and families in pregnancy
- Provide health information, support and care after birth for women, infants and families
- Support maternal, infant and family health and wellbeing
