Welcome to the workshop – Officiate games or competitions.

This workshop describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge to referee or umpire in ‘a dynamic’ official type role, a game or competition according to relevant rules and regulations.

It includes the application of strategies to deal with disputes surrounding the outcome of the activity and self-reflection to review and analyse the conduct and outcomes of performance to modify and improve future performances.

This workshop applies to those undertaking an officiating role in a sport and recreation environment at entry level in a chosen sport.
