Welcome to the workshop – Recognise and respond appropriately to domestic and family violence.

This workshop describes the skills and knowledge required to recognise indicators of domestic and family violence and to respond appropriately when working with clients in health and community service settings. Skills are focused on identifying signs of violence, following organisational protocols, and connecting clients with appropriate support and referral pathways.

The workshop applies to workers in health, community service, and related sectors who may come into contact with clients affected by domestic and family violence in the course of their role.
