Welcome to the workshop – Develop and update officiating knowledge.
This workshop describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to develop and update information on officiating, including the legal and ethical issues that must be considered by officials.
The workshop focuses on the ability to source and comprehend general principles of officiating as well National Sporting Organisation (NSO) sport specific requirements and covers the initial and ongoing development of a person’s required knowledge base.
It does not cover the technical requirements related to officiating in a particular sport, these skills are covered in other units.
